On Friday three policemen in Shopian, Kashmir were abducted and killed. Following which reports circulated that two cops have resigned. The Union ministry of home affairs clarified that none of the Special Police Officers (SPOs) has resigned and that some mischievous elements were trying to wrongly project those SPOs whose services were not renewed.
